Dr. Eng. Ashraf Sadeq Ghazy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos and Storage, announced that the company has obtained the International Quality Certificate ISO 9001:2015 for its General Administration, in addition to five operational sites in Giza and Qalyubia governorates, after successfully passing all stages of evaluation and inspection conducted by the internationally accredited awarding body SGS.
The scope of the certificate covers wheat storage and distribution activities to both public and private mills, ensuring the enhancement of quality standards and achieving the highest levels of efficiency in managing the storage and distribution system.
He affirmed that this achievement is a continuation of the company’s efforts to develop the infrastructure of the silos system and apply the best global administrative practices, in support of the state’s strategy to achieve food security and provide a safe strategic reserve of wheat.
This international certification reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to achieving excellence in performance, developing the work environment, and improving the level of services provided to mills and stakeholders, in line with the state’s orientation towards strengthening governance and total quality management systems.
